Our story

The same gate,
the same flight.

The first time I saw him, we were both waiting at the same gate for a flight to London. I remember glancing over and thinking, Oh wow, he's gorgeous. When I got to my seat, I noticed the one next to me was empty and thought, how brilliant would it be if he ended up sitting there?

Well, he did. We got chatting, then he asked for my number and we went our separate ways. I was sure I'd never hear from him again. I thought about him now and then, but eventually he just became one of those missed connections.

Then, a few months later, out of the blue, he messaged me saying, "Happy New Year." We clicked straight away, like nothing had changed.

Now we would love you there.

The church service, then dinner, speeches and dancing. Burgundy velvet, gold and candlelight, and far too many photographs.

The wedding party

The people standing with us

The friends and family who have carried us here, and who will be beside us on both days.

The important bit

Please RSVP

This is the only thing we need from you right now. Tell us who you are and we will do the rest.

  1. 1
You RSVP here. It takes about a minute.
  2. 2
We confirm. We close RSVPs, go through the list and confirm your place.
  3. 3
You get an access code. It opens your own invitation here, with the venue, the time, your colour and your access card.

Please RSVP by 30 November 2026. One form per household is fine.

Your invitation will be sent here.

Which days can you come to? *

Including yourself.

We only use your details to send your invitation. Nothing else, ever.

Gifts

Your presence is the gift

Honestly, you coming is enough. But people keep asking, so here it is. If you would like to bless us as we start our home, these are our details.

Please put your name as the transfer reference so we know who to thank.

Questions

Things people have asked

Where are the ceremonies being held?

We are deliberately not putting the venues on this website. Once we confirm your RSVP, we will email you an access code. Put that code in on the invitation page and you will see the full address, the start time and your access card. That is also how we keep the day to the people we have actually invited.

Do I need to RSVP if I only got a verbal invite?

Yes, please. The RSVP form is how we build the guest list. If you are not on it, we cannot send you an invitation, however much we love you.

Can I bring my husband, wife or children?

Put your full number in the "how many of you" box and we will do our best. We will confirm the final number on your invitation.

I am in the bridal party. What happens next?

Choose the bridal party option on the form. We will come back to you separately with the fabric, the price and the deadline for your tailor.

Can I come to both the traditional and the white wedding?

Tick both on the form and we will see what we can do. They are in different countries and the guest lists are slightly different, so your invitation is the final word.

Is there a dress code I have to follow?

If you are family, a parent or in the bridal party, please do stick to your colour. Everyone else, espresso or chocolate brown. Nobody is being turned away at the door.

I am travelling in from abroad. Any advice?

The traditional wedding is in Nigeria and the white wedding is in the United Kingdom, so most people will be travelling for at least one of them. Tell us where you are coming from on the form. We will send travel notes and hotel suggestions with your invitation, in good time for you to book and sort out any visa you need.

Something has changed and I can no longer come.

Just reply to your invitation email and let us know. No hard feelings at all, we would simply rather know.
